FAQ
Why is the same injection ₩19,000 at one clinic and ₩150,000 at another?
Usually the toxin's country of origin, not the doctor's skill. Korean brands are 30–50% cheaper than imported ones largely because imports carry distributor margins and duties, and all the major options are MFDS-approved with comparable clinical effect. Paying more buys brand certainty, not a categorically better result.
How many units for a jawline?
Around 50 units per side is typical, adjusted to muscle bulk. A suspiciously cheap price often means a smaller dose, so compare units rather than sessions.
How long until my face looks slimmer?
Two to four weeks for masseter slimming to show, with the fullest effect at around six weeks. Wrinkle areas respond faster, in 3–7 days. Nothing is visible on the day.
Should I worry about resistance?
Repeated exposure can occasionally produce antibodies that reduce the effect. Some higher-purity formulations are marketed on lower resistance risk. It's uncommon, and mostly a consideration for people treating large muscles frequently over years.

- Botulinum toxin is sold per unit. Doses are area-dependent (a jaw is ~50 units, a trapezius ~100–200), so ask for units, not 'one shot'.
- Priced per treated area, and clinics define 'area' differently. Ask exactly which zones your quote covers.
This is the clearest origin ladder on any Korean menu. One Seoul list sold an identical 50-unit masseter injection at ₩19k with a Korean toxin, ₩100k premium Korean, ₩120k German and ₩150k American — a 7.9x spread for the same procedure. Wrinkle areas ran ₩19k to ₩80k on the same ladder. Ask which brand and how many units; the two numbers together are the only meaningful quote.
